You will find us in the historic traditional & idyllic city of Jerez de la Frontera, located just north of Cádiz. Cadiz is in the south of Spain and is part of the province of Andalucia.

Jerez de la Frontera is an “undiscovered” city close to the Atlantic coast. It is picturesque and just a short distance to may great beaches. Càdiz and Jerez are amongst the oldest cities in Europe, and have an ancient and rich culture with origins  in both European and Moorish history.

Well-known also are the district’s many small “white” mountain villages, which often hold festivals of various kinds, including  cultural festival days and bull-running.

There are also many festivals in Jerez de la Frontera, the most important and well attended being the Feria in April. Here the sherry, horses and gypsy culture of the city can all be experienced in one vibrant location.

Easter is another celebration that is marked ceremoniously by the procession of religious icons being carried through the streets of the city. The processions are accompanied by music  songs and hymns all typical  of  Easter in this area of Spain. These festivals are very special  for the region and are an experience to behold.

Jerez is today world renowned for its sherry production, and the “dancing horses” at the Spanish riding school located near the city’s centre.

With its 300 days of sunshine, the city is among the sunniest in Spain and an excellent base for enjoying one of the many idyllic sandy beaches stretching along the Costa De La Luz. These coastal areas are also very popular with native Spaniards. Jerez and the surrounding area have a lot to offer.

The city’s inhabitants are known throughout Spain to be helpful, friendly and attentive. They speak little English, but they are very accommodating if you try to make yourself understood in Spanish. Here you will meet true «alegria». Jerez will definitely show you a warm welcome!

The cost of living is also significantly lower than the rest of Spain.
